Personal Income Statement - Finally!!

My first post from out of town. Thank you technology! I needed some time but finally I have put together the income statement that you can pretty much replicate and keep with you in your files for a really really long time. Or at the very least, it's a starting point!

I've bucketed them for simplicity's sake and I have also noted things that I think are high, medium or low in terms of importance (high = these are 'expenses' you want to keep as they help you; low = expenses you definitely want to try to minimize and even try to eliminate). Some expenses are inevitable.

I've thought a lot about the best way to share this information and I really hope this works. But I really want to know if it doesn't. And if it doesn't, what would make it better? Please please tell me because I do want this to be useful.

I know some of you have asked me to do seminars or classes to teach this stuff and I will at some point (still putting together lesson plans here...and very slowly at that!!). I'm hoping any input from these visits will help me to craft a better syllabus/book that I can actually publish and make part of my class.

So use this link and create an Income Statement for your home. And remember,
Revenues - Expenses = Net Income

If you have any questions, please ask me. More than happy to help :)
